Changes
* The track indicators are a bit more transparent

Bug fixes
* Fix for crash when shooting an animal near a bait site
* Charging animals don’t run in circles any more
* Fix for unspawned animals not getting spooked by weapon shot. (Because of this animals could call too soon after a shot)
* Ragdolls do not slide as much in slopes
* Fix for arrows getting stuck in air when the animal with the arrow despawns.
* Fix for 3D Archery Range bug (no hit data was shown)
* Ammo count is updated when shooting at ranges
* Clues are not reset when fast traveling. (all were counted as new before)
* Scope view is not rendered over the menus in single player
* Animal weight estimation is as good or better when spotting compared to tracks. If you spot an animal first, you will get the same weight estimate on tracks. If you track an animal and then spot it, the weight estimate can be updated once
* Game zooms out when reloading the muzzle loader when aiming
* Removed a deep hole in the ground on the southern island of WH reserve
* Stop all sounds when an animal dies. (so the attack sound does not continue when dead)
* fix for entering/exiting world items (game thought world item was full when it wasn’t – “Player limit reached”)
* Pathfinding maps on Hirschfelden have been updated so animals won’t get stuck in trees as often.
* Fixed a minor tracking bug.

Status Update

Still summer and the office is still pretty much empty. But we’re still working hard bringing you new stuff and fixing bugs.

On Monday we released a game update fixing some of the bugs you have reported, and hopefully more bugs will be fixed in the upcoming weeks.
We’re not only fixing bugs in the client, we’re also working fixing issues and such on the web site.

Today we released a new weapon, the 12 GA Blaser F3 Game O/U Shotgun. It works with all the 12 GA ammo types, like the other shotguns in the game, which makes it possible to hunt all the different animal species in the game with it.

* Fix for inventory showing instead of confirm animal screen
* Fix for crash when shooting an animal near a bait site (as a client)
* Fix for floating ammo in front of player
* Red fox melanistic variation tweaked (now looks more like a silver tipped fox)
* Fix for invisible third person body parts in some camera angles (arms and torso)
* Fix in pheasant tutorial (player had a bleat caller instead of a pheasant caller)

Status Update

New week, and a new status update!

People are still on vacation so the office is pretty empty right now, but that doesn’t mean the rest of us are not working on new stuff and bug fixes!
Hopefully we’ll be able to release a patch later this week fixing a couple of sneaky bugs that have been on the game for a while now.

We’ve updated the in-game inventory with an error message when something goes wrong, so it doesn’t get stuck in the loading spin (as some of you have experienced). We’re still working on fixing this issue, but until then at least you’ll get feedback directly so you’ll know that something actually went wrong and that it’s not the inventory that takes forever to load.

* The chat now shows the latest 28 messages when opened.

Bug fixes
* Fix for Singleplayer “disconnection” after pausing and/or alt-tabbing the game for a while
* World items textures when placed do not switch anymore (if you had an orange and a white tent close to each other, they could switch textures so the white was orange and vice versa)
* In-game map fix (when using the scroll button the map stopped working)
* Fixed some skinning issues on the Doc Monsignor clothes
* Ground blind model made a little higher
* Muzzleloader animation fix when aiming in prone (animation was missing)
* Muzzleloader will change your stance from prone/crouch to stand when character starts reloading
* You can use “Enter” in the game messages that have an “Ok” button (like in tutorials or the stone in Hemmeldal)
