Howdy Hunters!
Did you know about National Archery Day? Well, you do now. It applies to all bows and crossbows and that’s where most of our focus will be for this event. We’ll have our usual Mission and 3 tiered comps over the space of a week and the Community Campaign, but some of them will be focused around archery (yes, crossbows count for this). For the Campaign, you’ll still team up as a community to slay enough Feral Hogs, but the Campaign will not be archery based. You’ll see a bar for community prizes on the mission pop-up (use the banner in the launcher or on the website). Harvest at least 25 Feral Hogs to qualify, slaughter more to fill the bar and gain all your prizes. You do not need to play in multi or single-player, it’s up to you how you do your slaying. Gender does not matter. Weapons do not matter. Any Feral Hog harvested in the EHR will count.
Participate for the prizes, the trophies, and the glory! All hunters with enough Feral Hogs at the end of May 16th will win Community Prizes!
In order to take part in the event, you will have to click on the big banner you will find in the Launcher (or Website) home page:

The more Feral Hogs the Community harvests, the more in-game prizes each player is rewarded. Remember you personally need at least 25 Feral Hogs to qualify for prizes This is how the prize pool looks:
MISSION
This year’s mission is called The Silent Hunter
In the spirit of things, the mission is all about bows and crossbows. If you haven’t picked one up yet, we highly recommend it. They’re great for regular missions and high-volume hunting sessions. Feel free to test out all available bows and crossbows in the Bow/Xbow tutorial under the Hunt Now menu in the Launcher before buying anything new.
The mission will last through the event duration from the 10th May to the 16th May.
Completing it will earn the hunter the following rewards:
Completing Competitions won’t earn you anything special for the campaign, except that warm feeling of accomplishment, and isn’t that enough? That and a shot at some em$ and a trophy, of course.
Prizes for the competitions look like this:
Each competition comes with 7 tiers based on your Hunter Score:
What would a game be without rules?
We have one simple rule for our events: No exploitation of existing game mechanics to gain an advantage. All winners’ hunts will be checked by EW staff prior to prizes being rewarded, and the decision will be final.
In case of exploits usage, EW has a right to disqualify the player from this event.
And what would an Event be without sales? We’re not sure, but we do know that we’d get nasty messages if we skipped them, so we’ve made sure to put sales in.

Howdy Hunter, I’m sending you undercover to protect our Easter Eggs. It’s a great honor, so no arguing. If everyone does their part, we’ll be through the collections and the cads before you know it. I need you to rescue some endangered eggs and punish some animals with a reckless disregard for rarities. Don’t listen to anything they say, all perpetrators were witnessed committing these crimes, so don’t let them try to get out of it. Expect them to have ditched the contraband by now. Here’s the list, get going before it expires.
The mission will last through the event duration from the 5th April to the 11th April.
Completing it will earn the hunter the following rewards:

Did you think we’d forget April Fools? Not likely, with our track record. On with the foolery! We’re happy to introduce the Fool Turkey. There are 4 fur variations, male and female (thus destroying my tomfoolery joke), mixed in with the normal Turkeys. The furs will remain taxed in your lodge after the Event ends.
Now go hunt some. They’re really freaking out Drumstick.
