Game Update – Harvest Screen and Tweaks
Howdy Hunters,
We got plenty of requests after the skulls update and decided to make a small patch with these fixes before the whole team leaves for a well deserved holiday:
✅ The Harvest window has been updated to get rid of the need for any spin menus. You can now tax, trophy shot, or sell from that single Harvest window, and see the amount of gm$ you’ll get from selling. Taxidermy is still confirmed on the next window in case of misclicks Note that you can still do the Delayed Taxidermy as usual. Did you know that if you do a Delayed Taxidermy during the hunt, it still counts as Immediate?
✅ The Bleached skulls have been whitened a little more according to requests from the community.
✅ A few competition and mission description fixes to keep things running smoothly.

Holiday Event
Happy Holidays, Hunters!
The time of year to be happy, cheerful, and generous right? Do that in your real life. On this side of the world, the days leading up to the Winter Solstice are dark and full of danger, from evil spirits to killer icicles.
In the spirit of that, this year, take on the role of the Krampus. Steal every present you can lay your hands on, slay Rudolph, and steal the grand prize for yourself, muhahahahahahaha! The event lasts from the 8th of December to the 22nd of December, featuring the usual Campaign, Mission but 5 Competitions. Vent out your holiday shopper frustrations on some pixels and give your family the gift of a happy, relaxed you.
Participate for the prizes, the trophies, and the glory! The Krampus with the most Present$ at the end of December the 22nd will win a generous first prize!
It’s not all dark and wintery though. With the event comes two major bug fixes; the Reindeer incorrect score calculation has been fixed and invisible Reindeer herds are now plain for all to see. Have at them! We’re looking forward to some epic scores from you 🙂

CAMPAIGN
There are Holiday collectibles all over the EHR! Pick them up when you see them and collect Present$! Harvests also award Present$, so think of them as stocking stuffers and have at it!

MISSION
This year’s mission is called Slaying All the Way
I know there’re plenty of Present$ in all the reserves, but Hemmeldal looks so good, I think I’ll spend most of my event hunting there. Want to help me find Rudolph? I bet he’ll look great in a Lodge, and he’ll match the decor.
Hey, if we weren’t supposed to shoot him, he wouldn’t have a bulls-eye on his nose, would he?
The mission will last through the event’s duration from the 8th Dec to the 22nd Dec.
Completing it will earn the hunter the following rewards:
COMPETITIONS
5 tiered competitions to take part in, each running for 3 days. Unlike our usual events, none of them will run at the same time. Check the Calendar above if you’re confused.
Completing each competition in any place (just qualify!) will also award the hunter 100 Present$ points.
Prizes for the competitions look like this:
Each competition comes with 7 tiers based on your Hunter Score:
RULES
What would a game be without rules?
We have one simple rule for our events: No exploitation of existing game mechanics to gain an advantage. All winners’ hunts will be checked by EW staff prior to prizes being rewarded, and the decision will be final.
In case of exploits usage, EW has a right to disqualify the player from this event.
SALES
We’re doubling down on Sales again! All items related to the Holiday event will be 50% off, including the weapons, and a good number of other items will be 30% off.

Game Update – Skulls
Howdy Hunters,
With this release, we’re bringing you an exciting little feature we hope will extend to something great: Skull Mounts to decorate your Lodge with! We’re starting off with 3 mountable skulls for Grey Wolf, Brown Bear, and Puma each with 3 decoration styles:
✅ Bleached
✅ Natural
✅ Decorated (each species has its one unique style)
When you opt to tax an animal, you’ll see the option to mount the skull, if it has a Skull Mount. In the Lodge, you can pick the skin you’d like your skull to have just like you adjust a taxed animal.
So, send us your feedback and let us know what you think of the starter batch. We have more Skulls and separate mountings planned, but let’s get the first couple right (wink)
By necessity, the Update this time is a bit chunky (sorry about that), but there’s a fair bit to lay the groundwork for this feature and other upcoming releases.

Halloween Event
Trick or Treat!
Well, it depends on how you look at it. For the next week, Timbergold Trails will be overrun with Werewolves (don’t tell Doc he only has to deal with them for a week, it’ll ruin the fun). Enjoy the twilight creepiness in TGT and pit your skills against the most savage animal in the EHR. Remember to hunt them with the “Wolfsbane” weapon variations (.308 handgun and Crossbow Pistol) and make sure you use silver ammo. Normal ammo and weapons will only annoy them. While you’re out there, keep an eye out for the new and rather rare fur variation, the Golden Werewolf.
For those of you worried about doing Daily Missions with Werewolves terrorizing TGT, don’t worry. Except for the Mule Deer, which can be found on other reserves, TGT animals will NOT have Daily Missions during the event.
Along with our Golden Werewolf, there’s a new Van Helsing Hat for hardcore Werewolf hunters in the store. You may notice an increase in Werewolf attraction while wearing this hat… You have been warned.
We’ve also added some stunning moonlight during the trophy shots in TGT, so the final pictures are much lighter and more visible now. If you’re inclined to some fancy moonlit shots, you can also pick up some predefined Werewolf Trophy Poses to keep your photo shoots short and sweet.
So bring down those Werewolves, bag some TGT animals and complete the Werewolf Mission Pack in TGT. Take a break in between with the three competitions taking place in other reserves.

This year’s mission is called Dances with Werewolves
Every year! Where are these marauding beasts coming from? There must be source. We need to find it. There’s probably an Alpha somewhere creating them, right?
We’ll have to keep their numbers down until we can find the Head Mankiller, though. Be careful, Hunter, they’re all over the place and they’re mean. Make sure you harvest, you have to separate the head and heart to make sure it won’t get back up.
The mission will last through the event’s duration from the 27th Oct to the 2nd Nov.
Completing it will earn the hunter the following rewards:
