We are so proud of what we’ve built over the last 17 years. Having such a passionate community of hunters sticking around with us after all this time is something we truly cherish.

So it is with a heavy heart that we bring you news about our future. After careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to say goodbye to theHunter Classic. As we face the reality of our dwindling playerbase, continuing active support is simply no longer financially sustainable. The game is set to shut down on November 11th, 2026.

When we started developing Classic, we never dreamed it would reach the level of success that it did. Back then, we were a small team, many of us fresh out of college, working on our first game. Working in such an experimental way was something special.

Before we close the door on this chapter, we would like to celebrate one last Halloween with you with the traditional Classic werewolf event from October 28th to November 11th, 2026.

Thank you for being a part of this journey and sticking around with us for all these years, many of you for a huge chunk of your lives. We do not take that for granted.

From everyone at Expansive Worlds and Magic Media, we wish you many thrilling hunts, wherever you find them next.
